  1. Lindsey, My first thoughts when visiting your website was great design-green is a calming and inviting color. Did you know that? It’s true. In your educational philosophy you mention, “In my own classroom, I will learn the strengths and weaknesses of my own students by using formative, summative, and performance assessments and by conferencing with students on a regular basis.” The last part of your statement is very important. As a teacher of 10 years, I know how crazy the classroom schedule becomes with each passing year. Remember that this is your goal because for a lot of teachers, conferring with students about academics and life in general falls to the wayside. I can tell you really liked Photoshop and I think it’s great that you continue to practice with this technology so that you can incorporate it in your teaching. Well done!

  2. Great site, Lindsey. You did a terrific job, just like you do with everything. I like sites that aren’t terribly busy because I am easily confused. You include links to interesting stuff. I hope you’ll keep and update the site from time to time so I can steal ideas from you when we’re both teaching.

  3. Lindsey, nice work on your website, it is very well designed. Great Wordle on your home page and what nice picture in your about me section. Your digital story was one of my favorites. I thought it was very touching story, I am sure your family loved it too. I liked that you did two different Podcasts, they both interesting and easy to listen to. It was a nice touch to have screenshots of Photostory and Audacity projects with the projects being created - good idea! Your site really shows how much time and creativity you put into it. Good luck on your upcoming final semester!

  4. Lindsey: I thought you did a great job with your website! I really like your philosophy of education and how you emphasize the importance of creating an experience that meets the needs of the students. I loved your PowerPoint on Shakespeare, I thought it was really informative and would help the students better understand the text. You had some great resources to check out and really made your website easy and fun to look at!
